  • Affordable! Perfect for education, research, and product development

Eliminate Technical Roadblocks

Researchers using carbon nanotubes (CNT) in their research on novel materials and devices can run into technical roadblocks when the quality of the CNTs they use is poor.

There are few commercial options for systems that will produce high-quality CNTs.  Most are extremely complex and in many cases cost prohibitive. We provide and easy to use system that is affordable to a large number of researchers and educators.

Quality CNTs Enable a Wide Range of Applications

The Nanotech Innovations SSP-354 is an inexpensive, benchtop system for producing high quality MWNTs.

  • Single Source Precursor
  • No pre-patterning of substrate with catalyst
Our system produces as grown MWNTs with less than 4% impurity.  A researcher can produce a 300-500 mg sample in a typical run with the system, giving them a more than sufficient amount of CNTs with which to conduct their research or continue product development. An educator can introduce CNT fabrication to undergraduates in an typical lab setting, with enough CNTs for a variety of analysis experiments. (AFM, SEM, spectroscopy, etc)

Accelerated Research and Product Development

Maintain complete control over the chemical history of your CNTs from growth to application.  This is a requirement to provide ultimate assurance of product quality and to guide commercial development.  Growing your own CNTs provides that level of assurance from the very beginning of product development in the laboratory.

Thermogravimetric Analysis of CNTs

Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) confirms that as grown CNT samples from the SSP-354 have less than 4% iron catalyst impurity. This low level of initial impurity affords a vast number of applications across a wide range of fields.
