The new Mobile S AFM, with optional rechargeable battery, frees you from these dimensional restrictions and extends your lab to the world around you. Now, with only a laptop computer and a Mobile S AFM, high-precision surface measurements can be performed anywhere!

Additionally, the battery-powered system offers unique advantages even in a laboratory where power is readily available. For example, in order to eliminate electrical line noise, simply disconnect the external power…even while imaging…and the system will continue to operate for hours on the internal DC power supply.
