arrow Non-contact 3D Data

The TR Scan generates its 3D surface data in non contact by using a digital holographic microscopy technology. The technology is similar to interference measurement techniques. A hologram is recorded by a digital camera and the data is processed to generate the true topographical features of the surface.

Excellent vertical resolution of 1nm. X and Y resolution are determined by optical limitation.

arrow Large Range (View)

The TR Scan DHM S1 measuring head images an area of 0.5mm x 0.5mm in one single shot. The TR Scan DHM S2 head covers an area of 1mm x 1mm. Larger areas can be imaged by stitching images together.

arrow Insensitive to vibrations

Due to the TR Scan’s fast measuring speed, the system becomes less prone to vibrations (compared to other profilometers on the market).
