TR Scan
The exclusive Trimos DHM® (Digital Holographic Microscopy) technology is
similar to the interference measuring process. A hologram ensues from the
interference between the reflected wave on an object and a reference wave.
The hologram will be secured by a digital camera. The data processing of the
hologram allows constituting the geometrical surface topology.
This technology has numerous advantages compared with other non-contact
measurement technologies: extremely fast measurements, simple working
process and no requirement of special environmental conditions.
All measurements performed using a DHM measuring head will be in three
dimensions. A surface in 3D profile contains considerably more information of
characteristics than a 2D profile. When checking profiles (module LT and XT) the
user is able to visualize the surface measured in 3D and may modify the profile
progression if necessary. |
