Use the easyPLL Sensor
Controller and digital FM Detector for scanning probe
microscopy applications such as UHV AFM, MFM, and
NSOM. The Sensor Controller provides the oscillation
circuit to drive the AFM sensor (cantilever or tuning
fork) at its resonance frequency. The Digital FM detector
provides frequency detection. The modules can be used
together or separately as stand-alone modules.
Though operation and the tried and true functions
of the easyPLL remain the same, the easyPLL plus reduces
noise by a factor of three, thanks to a new sine generator.
A low pass filter reduces noise even more. The new
digital phase shifter for the reference signal improves

Before measuring, the new easyPLL
plus software performs and plots a full spectrum analysis
of the sensor amplitude and phrase shift then self
adjusts the sensor's center frequency.
