The highly modular easyScan 2
line allows you to move from a very affordable STM
system to a highly functional multiple mode AFM/STM
package. You can configure what you need, or you
can add options later.
The Swiss-made system is manufactured
near the birthplace of the STM. High quality, precision
machining, and a smart easy-to-use design makes
the easyScan 2 the perfect choice for teaching or
research.

The easyScan 2 system is built around the elegant
easyScan 2 controller. The system and software can be
configured to control either of 2 STM microscope heads,
or any of 3 different AFM heads. Auxiliary boards and
functional upgrades are available to expand the system's
capabilities. |

The easyScan
2 AFM:
One can easily upgrade the STM to the AFM, or simply
bypass the STM option altogether. The new easyScan 2
AFM lets you get started with atomic force microscopy
at a low cost, and you have the ability to upgrade functions
later on. |

The easyScan 2 AFM can be upgraded by adding dynamic
force functions, dual-view video, sample translation,
a signal access monitor, software capabilities and many
