During this webinar presentation, Dr. Schuster and Dr. Parker will demonstrate the application of the DENSsolutions Climate system to study catalyst dynamics with in situ microscopy. Through a correlative approach utilizing electron microscopy and X-ray microscopy, imaging and spectroscopy information can be understood at different length scales under identical conditions. This is uniquely made possible by the modular design of the Climate system, which features a removable holder tip carrying a MEMS Nano-Chip which functions as a “Lab-on-Cartridge”.
The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A session with Dr. Dan Zhou of DENSsolutions, Product Marketing Manager and Applications Scientist. Dan specializes in applying in situ gas + heating inside the TEM and has extensive experience working with the Climate system.
You’ll be listening to leading researchers in the field. In this webinar, you’ll get:
- An overview in situ TEM for studying catalyst dynamics under relevant conditions, including elevated temperatures and controlled gas/liquid environments
- An understanding of how Climate’s modular design acts as a functional “lab-on-a-cartridge”, opening up new possibilities for multi-length-scale analysis
- A look at the system developments made to use Climate within an X-ray nanoprobe beamline to study catalyst nanoparticles
- Live Q&A
