KSV NIMA Langmuir-Blodgett Trough

Product Image of the KSV NIMA Langmuir-Blodgett Trough

The standard KSV NIMA Langmuir-Blodgett Troughs are available in several sizes from small to large. Depending on the size of the system, you can deposit Langmuir-Blodgett films on samples ranging in size from a few square millimeters to many tens of square centimeters. The Langmuir-Blodgett dipping mechanism can also be easily fitted with a Langmuir-Shafer deposition kit for horizontal Langmuir-Schaefer deposition.

Features & Options

KSV NIMA Alternate Trough

The premium Langmuir-Blodgett Trough. It can coat a substrate using two different materials in the same experiment for more advanced organized coatings. Materials can deposit in any desired order and direction. The system uses two sets of barriers and pressure sensors to control packing density for each material used.

KSV NIMA Liquid-Liquid Langmuir Troughs

Extends the capability of this instrument to use both liquid-liquid and air-liquid interfaces. The liquid-liquid interface is often used to study emulsion stability, properties of oil and gas, food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical research.

KSVNIMA Langmuir Blodgett Lite Trough

KSV NIMA Langmuir-Blodgett Troughs Lite

The premium quality of Langmuir-Blodgett Trough in value form. Entry level model for constrained budgets with the flexiblity to upgrade as needed with all the other KSV NIMA benefits!

KSVNIMA Langmuir Blodgett Roll-to-Roll Trough

KSV NIMA Roll-to-Roll Langmuir Blodgett Trough

Quickly and precisely coat large areas of flexible substrates with the KSV NIMA Roll-to-Roll LB trough system, designed for high throughput.

Thin Film Coating Package

Control the monolayer thickness and packing density with the KSV NIMA Langmuir-Blodgett Trough, MicroBAM and Langmuir-Shaefer holders.

  • Homogeneous deposition over large areas
  • Enables multilayer structures with varying layer composition
  • Deposition can be made on any kind of solid substrate
  • Brewster Angle Microscope ensures molecular layer quality prior to deposition
