Johns Hopkins University’s – The Kessler Group

The Kessler Group at The Johns Hopkins University’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering recently added a Fluidnatek LE-50 Electrospinning system to their suite of advanced research equipment. This system will support their work in biorobotics by enabling the fabrication of electrospun thermoplastic polymeric fibers with synthesized liquid crystals. It will also play a role in developing next-generation antimicrobial materials using thermoplastic polyurethane.
