The Sigma 702 is a standalone force tensiometer that provides accurate surface and interfacial tension measurements, manual determination of Critical Micelle Concentration (CMC) and density measurements. The open design and convenient control keyboard operations make these instruments easy to use without the need for an external computer.
Features
The open design and convenient control keyboard operations make the Sigma 702 extremely easy to use. Results are displayed on a large integrated digital screen. The instrument comes equipped with data software and can be connected to an external computer for additional data storage and simple reporting.

Surface Tension/Interfacial Tension Utilizing Du Noüy Ring, Wilhelmy plate or rod, record and analyze the forces exerted onto a probe or solid sample using a sensitive microbalance. The force seen by the balance can be converted into surface tension or interfacial tension when a platinum Du Noüy ring or Wilhelmy plate is used for drawing up the liquid in a meniscus.
