2-Day QCM-D Short Courses:

Join our specialized 2-day QCM-D (Quartz-crystal Microbalance with Dissipation monitoring) Short Course. Held in Alexandria, VA, this immersive program is designed for both experienced practitioners and newcomers, offering an in-depth exploration of both fundamental and advanced QCM-D techniques. Hosted at our state-of-the-art facilities, the course features hands-on sessions with the latest QSense instruments, complemented by expert-led lectures.

Whether you currently use a QSense instrument, are fluent with QCM-D, or wanting to take a prospective journey into the technique, we invite you to join us for an enriching exploration that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience.

Participants are advised to bring their PC laptops for data analysis.

These training courses will cover:
  • Basic-level of understanding of QCM-D technology, routine applications and operation of QSense instruments
  • Theoretical background of QCM-D technology and operating principles.  
  • Hands-on instruction of instrument operation as well as surface and sample preparation.  
  • QSense methods and protocols will be reviewed and used throughout the course.
  • 2 Data analysis sessions using the DFind software.
  • 2 introductory sessions of viscoelastic modeling of acquired sample data
