MP-SPR Navi

Multi-Parametric Surface Plasmon Resonance (MP-SPR)

BioNavis MP-SPR Systems

BioNavis Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) systems deliver highly sensitive, real-time, label-free analysis of molecular interactions and thin-film properties for research across life sciences and materials science. Built on the advanced Multi-Parametric Surface Plasmon Resonance (MP-SPR) platform, BioNavis instruments record the complete resonance curve over multiple wavelengths, expanding on traditional SPR capabilities that only monitor a single parameter i.e. resonance peak minimum.

By measuring the full angular shape, including peak minimum position, peak intensity, and the total internal reflection angle, MP-SPR simultaneously determines molecular binding kinetics, layer thickness, and refractive indices without requiring labels. Multi-wavelength scanning allows researchers to study complex and thick samples up to several micrometers, such as live cell monolayers, nanoparticles, and polymers in both liquid and gas phases.

Label Free Interactions

Measure affinity, kinetics, bound mass and layer thickness in real time

Complex Samples

Analyze cell culture media and other crude samples like serum and saliva

Unmatched Versatility

Characterize small molecules, proteins, viruses, lipid nanoparticles, bacteria and living cells

MP-SPR Product Options

Developed by pioneers in SPR technology, including Dr. Ulf Jönsson, founder and former CEO of Biacore, and Dr. Janusz Sadowski, MP-SPR represents the next generation of SPR instrumentation. By combining exceptional sensitivity with advanced optical measurement capabilities, BioNavis systems provide researchers with deeper insights into surface interactions, binding kinetics, and layer properties, making them powerful tools for both fundamental research and applied scientific development.
