OVERVIEW

MP-SPR Navi Control software serves as the central operational platform for Multi-Parametric Surface Plasmon Resonance instruments, providing automated, real-time control over fluidic handling, temperature regulation, and angular optical scans. It dynamically records comprehensive interaction profiles across multiple wavelengths and angles simultaneously, capturing both molecular binding events and physical layer modifications without disrupting the sample environment. The application features user-guided assay wizards to streamline experimental setups, live status tracking for multi-channel workflows, and direct data exporting capabilities optimized for downstream modeling tools like LayerSolver and kinetic analysis programs.

BioNavis Navi MP-SPR

MP-SPR Navi™ Control

Operate and monitor experiments in real time through an intuitive interface designed for efficient instrument control. Configure the autosampler, set and monitor temperature, manage experiment events, and visualize multiple sensor parameters, including complete SPR curves and sensorgrams displaying peak minimum angle, intensity, and PureKinetics™, all within a single platform.

BioNavis Navi MP-SPR

MP-SPR Navi™ DataViewer

Quickly search, view, and select experimental data for post-processing and reporting. Export results in formats compatible with widely used data analysis software, including Excel, Origin, and TraceDrawer, enabling a streamlined workflow for further analysis, visualization, and documentation.

Tracedrawer™

TraceDrawer™ is an advanced data analysis software module for MP-SPR Navi™ instruments, designed to process and analyze kinetic data from real-time biomolecular interaction experiments. The software helps researchers evaluate, compare, summarize, and report experimental results while combining data from multiple MP-SPR measurements into a single project file. TraceDrawer™ can also import text-based data from other instruments, providing additional flexibility for comparative analysis.

Use TraceDrawer™ to Calculate:

  • Kinetics
  • Affinity
  • Concentration
  • Adhesion
  • Adsorption/Absorption
  • Desorption

Data from multiple experiments can be displayed in an overlay view and processed using curve modification tools such as scaling, normalization, subtraction, and offset adjustment for accurate comparison. TraceDrawer™ also enables the export of publication-quality figures with customizable dimensions, resolution, fonts, annotations, and arrows.

For quantitative interaction analysis, TraceDrawer™ provides multiple fitting models to determine association rate constants (ka), dissociation rate constants (kd), and binding affinity (KD). Available models include 1:1 binding and more complex interaction models, such as 2:1 and 1:2 binding. The software can also determine affinity and concentration-dependent responses using models for parameters such as KD and EC50, providing researchers with a versatile platform for characterizing a wide range of ligand-analyte interactions.

LayerSolver™

LayerSolver™ is an advanced software module for MP-SPR Navi™ instruments designed to model and analyze multilayer optical systems and determine key layer properties, including thickness and refractive index. Based on the Fresnel formalism for multilayer optical systems, LayerSolver™ combines a powerful fitting engine with an intuitive user interface to efficiently analyze measured SPR curves.

Use LayerSolver™ to Calculate:

  • Refractive Index
  • Thickness
  • Extinction Coefficient
  • Density
  • Swelling
  • Optical Dispersion

The software enables researchers to model theoretical SPR curves and predict measurement outcomes for multilayer structures, helping optimize parameters such as metal film thickness or spin-coated polymer layers. Experimental MP-SPR data can be easily imported and fitted to calculate the properties of metals, dielectrics, ceramics, polymers, and other thin-film coatings. LayerSolver™ can simultaneously fit multiple SPR curves and wavelengths, with options to constrain parameters and define fitting boundaries for greater control over the analysis.

Data from multiple MP-SPR experiments can be organized, analyzed, and stored within a single file. Results can be exported as publication-quality figures, including scalable vector formats, or as ASCII and Excel data for further analysis and custom visualization.
